Random Association

Random association is about combination of random word that can help to solve the problem or generate new idea. The random word is the combination of logical and possible word from the question or figure to solve the problem. this method can help the thinker to think out of box.

the exercise:

random word: traffic light.
problem: How to make smoker quit
random association: dirty, black, sign, metal

personal reflection:
today class ,i learn about traffic light mind map. the lecturer teach about random associations and this is my 1st time heard that term. I gain knowledge on how to find idea if i stuck. i also can create idea out of box..as a fcm student, this is what should i know. the most critical part is when the designer dont have any idea..this class help me a lot...and i enjoy also the class when we done a lot of activities that give out mind to be out of the box. as for fcm student, we really need this kind of exercise to practice our mind to be out of box most all the time to be able to create new concept in design.v^-^v
