“Creative Multimedia = Creativity”
According to Oxford Dictionary, creative means involving the use of the imagination or original ideas in order to create something. As we all know, multimedia means various types of media. For example, newspapers, magazines, yellow pages, radio and television. Creative multimedia is always related to creativity. Why? This is because creativity is one of the creative processes. There are many ways to be a creative person or creative thinker. By being creative can helps us to stand out from peoples. It depends on the person itself.
Let’s begin exploring creativity with strategies. When it comes to strategies, brainstorming is the main key. We can just spill out any idea, even though it is not related to the topic. It is because from there the actual idea will come. In brainstorming stage, there is no wrong idea. All ideas are accepted. There are many ways to do brainstorming. By asking questions on how to solve the problems is one of the processes. Apart from that, by rearranging or combine the methods, problems or answers might help us to find the ideas. Don’t just sit alone in the room and expect to get the great ideas. The ideas can come when you are having a good moment with friends or family, or maybe when you are walking and listening to music. Finding idea is fun when you know the processes of creative.
There are some reasons why people cannot find the way to be creative. It is all in the person itself. Some people are afraid to make some changes to be creative. They are also afraid to make mistake or break the rules in the process of creative. Some students know how to break the rules that lecturer gives in creative way and make the artwork accepted. Emotion is part of the reasons why are ideas cannot come in their processes of creative. When the person is in angry, frustrated or worry too much, there are no ways they can find the ideas. When they are in those emotions, they block their vision to see things in different point of view. They lack of spirit and energy to find the idea. The most part of blocking person from being creative is their own thought. They afraid on what others might think in their artworks. Some of them cannot accept the judgment or critic. That is why they like to follow other person’s idea. These are the ‘road block’ in person internal that need to be change in order to find the creative ideas in whatever they do.
When someone is in creativity mode, does not mean they will always being creative. For example, when we were in pre-school, our creativity was in high peak because we did things individually and we got the freedom in doing it. At that time we got the courage from teachers to continue our creativity and it is also part of learning processes. We can see that in high school, the creativity decline because of judgment or criticism from peers or teachers. That is why the students are afraid to create new things. The capacity of creativity also can increase when the students have high determination to achieve something in life, careers or academic.
In creativity, mind set is in one of the branch. When we do self talking, our questions can expend the possibility of the ideas. They also can ask people or refer to books to get more ideas. Mind mapping and proactive is very important to achieve high creativity. Mind mapping will make sure that we are not running out from the topic. There are two types of mind mapping which are logical and associated. Both are very useful. Proactive is ready to learn something new and also understand the processes of creating artworks. We also must dare to dream something that impossible. When we got the ideas, we must write or sketch it down to remember it. You can see some people with high creativity have some characteristics. They like to create things differently to see in different point of view. They also like to imagine, from there they will get the ideas. This type of person with high creativity normally will react fast on certain situation that might help them to get the ideas.
In conclusion, creativity cannot be forced. We cannot force ourselves to think creatively. It will come when the time is right. We must know the creative processes. Once we know the processes, the creativity will come naturally.

personal reflection:today class ,i learn about traffic light mind map. the lecturer teach about random associations and this is my 1st time heard that term. I gain knowledge on how to find idea if i stuck. i also can create idea out of box..as a fcm student, this is what should i know. the most critical part is when the designer dont have any idea..this class help me a lot...and i enjoy also the class when we done a lot of activities that give out mind to be out of the box. as for fcm student, we really need this kind of exercise to practice our mind to be out of box most all the time to be able to create new concept in design.v^-^v

thus 14= Flower Mountain, 31 = Ice Head, 56 = Fire Spider.
then, i have to write sentence from those word and draw it.
after that, i have to draw combination of the 2 things become 1.

2nd: Fire Spider-------the spider ran away from the fire.

fish have to live inside water to survive. even if it can be on the land, but not for long, while butterfly on can be inside water for few second and it will die if too long. That because this combination could die instantly if it happen..

-love is like a chili, the more you eat it the more you will cry and these tears could be for hottest of the chili or joyfulness of eating it and that what love could do to you. You may cry for sadness or happiness.
- the way you show your love toward me is so hot like the taste of chili and the color of my heart every time we meet is red like red chilies.
Concept of Men and Women using Mortar and Pestle:
-women like a mortar, where she put heart in it and men like a pestle that will crash it using pestle.
-Men and women need each other to work on something like a mortar and pestle need each other to crushing herbs.
personal reaction:
today class is so fun with all those activities. i like when my mind going wild and being out of the box. thinking the impossible things. The lecturer give the student opportunity to be a creative thinker. The lesson about juxtaposition is so fun with the combination of the activities.v^-^v
Juxtaposition 2
Juxtaposition can be use in verbal and text. there 2 type in verbal and text analogy, metaphor and similes.
for metaphor, it show comparing between things without using "as" and "like" while similes using those 2 word when doing comparison.
example:
A wire IS a road for electrons. A metaphor suggesting that electrons actually do use a wire as a road to travel on.
A good book IS LIKE a good meal. A simile suggesting that a book may be as (mentally) nourishing and satisfying as a meal.

-logical analogy (comparing using similarity in design through physical of the object)
-affective analogy (comparing through emotional resembles, using intrinsic values of the object)

personal reflection:
Today lecture still in juxtaposition topic but in deeper understand. inside this topic there subtopic about oxymoron. Same as juxtaposition, i never heard the word oxymoron *due to lacking in knowledge..heee*. When the lecturer give explanation about oxymoron, its very interesting. How people do the oxymoron without their knowing about it.v^-^v
